🧭 Help: Manage Projects

This page lets you create and manage your projects — edit focus and settings, view the audit trail, and copy your Refer-Back URL.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Add a New Project
Click the big “Add New Project” button. Enter a unique project name and a clear project focus description, then create the project. You are automatically assigned as Project Admin for it.
  2. Edit Project Focus
Click Edit Project Focus. You can change the project name, focus description, focus keywords, project exclusions, and “Curated by” name. Use Improve Project Focus with Grok to refine the focus text and keywords. Add project exclusions yourself when you know off-topic phrases that should drop studies (papers that use similar words but are the wrong context). Click Save Changes to keep your edits.
  3. Study Flags & Links
Click Study Flags & Links to manage study flags (including custom flags) and optional affiliate / shop links shown on the project home page.
  4. Refer-Back URL
On the right side of the project card you will see the Refer-Back URL. This is the public link that opens your project’s home page (for example when you share it or send people back from your site or shop). Click 📋 Copy to copy it to the clipboard. The URL is created automatically when the project is created — you do not need to build it yourself.
  5. Audit Trail
Click Audit Trail on any project to see the history of who created, modified, activated, or deactivated it, and when payment was recorded.

What happens after you create a project?

New projects start inactive / pending until they are activated and paid. Activation and payment are handled by the site administrator (or through the payment process when that applies). You can still edit your project’s focus, flags, and links while waiting.
